Actually, mkcerusky...we were not defeated. We stepped out when the rat eating Chinese ran over the hills on top of us by the hundreds of thousands. Truman was contemplating dropping the H-bomb on 'em, but backed off for fear of creating a larger conflict involving our pals the Russians.
