looks like a few brim in the right hand corner
fossil_digger Report This Comment Date: August 21, 2007 12:23PM
i couldn't go this time (work). but knowing them they were fishing with shad
and slabs. i don't think any of them are brim, they never keep them, + the bait
normally used is way to big for a brim to get his mouth around.
i call 'em "perch"

wtf shad and slabs?
fossil_digger Report This Comment Date: August 22, 2007 12:58PM
shad = minnows
slab = solid metal, oblong shape, usually white with eyes on either side, treble
hook on the tail, sometimes a small furry tail. you drop 'em straight down free
fall with finger sliding down the line for feel. they usually hit it on the way
down. takes alot of practice to be able to feel 'em take it. slabs are kinda
cheating in my eyes, but quite useful when the sand bass are above the
stripers.
i like "hellbenders" for trolling.
hellbender = 5-6 inch long 2 body segment, 3 treble hooks, usually silver with
blue bellies, deep diver bill on its head. wobbles back and forth almost
violently, stripers love that shit!

oh ok,you guys got different names for em!
fossil_digger Report This Comment Date: August 22, 2007 05:50PM
of course these lures are all good for warm weather. cold weather calls for
plastic worms, lizards, and crawdads. a whole different kinda fishin'.
