So speaking of fires; there's a number of fires that sparked today in Victoria
during the 44 (112f) degree day (following another on Wednesday - it's not
usually this hot in December, it's more a Jan/Feb kinda thing); but on top of
that pretty much all of Melbourne was blanketed in smoke from the NSW bush
fires. That's, what, 800? 1000 miles away? It's been like that in Sydney for
more than a month.
Weather and fires are pretty fuckin' crazy this year, and only scheduled to get
worse. The season has only just started, we've got months of dry, hot weather to
come. Anyway, Christmas next week, heading into the country where it's even
drier and hotter (and there's currently fires around 15 miles from where I'll be
going) so should be entertaining.
Have a good week all.
