Why didn't you just stay with static? The amount of data transfer for the same
web browsing these days is incredible - and stupid.

Because static HTML takes us back to the days where there's a webmaster and
that's it. Every image would be uploaded and programmed in by me.

Edit: For reference though, this is a very small page. We add a few kilobytes
above what the image size is in code. About 1-2 seconds on a 56k dialup modem +
image load time.

I wasn't complaining about plus613. Yesterday I browsed the afr, dailywail,
deepdreamgenerator and here. 120mgs in the browser cache. 10 minutes.
