I know this is a gag, but why is it that homosexual men always are stereotyped
as being effeminate and have lisps? And why is it that male Hollywood hair
stylists are also categorized like that?

A stereotype is a broad generalization about a group of people. They usually
only offend or "stick" to groups when there is a shade of truth to the
generalization.
I've heard a lot of gay men talking like valley girls, and some of them even
(consciously or subconiously) take on a slight lisp when they're talking to
their friends.
Talking and dressing in a flamboyant manner is a way for gay men to try and
"shock" people in order to get attention and as a way of rebelling
against society.
Jethuth Christh, you didn't know that?

I don't think the Pride Parade is really helping. My point is that if you want
to be taken seriously, you just don't stuck a thong in your bum and samba down
the streets
