Another thing,because Japan was buddies with Germany and Italy both countries declared war on the USA on December 11, 1941. It was a good thing that Britain kept Germany off their island otherwise the US 8th Air Force and the eventual troop build up that invaded Normandy wouldn't have had a place to go. The war may have had a different outcome if Germany had invaded England. Whatever your point of view the victory was a team effort.
