JWH, best advice with learning Photoshop, and its thousands of features is to strip it back to the items that effect your needs. Seen maunals the size of the bible with more BS than you can poke a stick at. Learn to use "layers" and "Actions" and pop over to the adobe site and download "Actions" people have created for Photoshop, from there you will blow people away with your stuff.
