Who exactly is determining the efficacy of mask wearers actions? Is there any insurance what so ever that the bulk of mask wearers are doing so in any manner that leads to them actually being effective for any longer than a few minutes at best?

Surely you're aware that the most commonly used masks, yes, the type worn by doctors and nurses every day, are only effective in a best case scenario for no more than 20 mins. in a STERILE environment, right? Bandanas, scarves and all the plethora of other crap people wear to simply cover their mouth and nose are significantly less effective and can actually pose increased risks of contamination to the wearer as well as anyone around them.

The reality is that wearing a mask is a perfunctory act of compliance to then allow us travel amongst our fellow compliant members of society without being reprimanded for refusing to do so.

I currently wear a mask for over 30hrs a week and can tell you this does lead to several unwanted side effects that have nothing to do with covid.

Even wearing one where it vents as freely as possible it still leads to ingestion of lower levels of oxygen, yakno that stuff we NEED to take in to live and function.

The masks quickly collect moisture from respiration and also cause increased perspiration which quickly makes the mask itself totally ineffective at doing anything other than making it a sponge for contamination of all sorts, not just covid.

This decreased ingestion of oxygen also causes some to experience the effects of a loss of mental acuity which can also lead to depression. Can't say this is how it effects me but I can surely relate I'm not doing my best when my level of oxygen is less than it could be. It does also lead to increased levels of phloem I hafta spit up as well as increased nasal congestion too. All of this so I can be a good little compliant citizen and stay off the damned welfare/unemployment roles and try to continue instead to be a functioning/contributing member of society.

In years to come when all this travesty of conflated nonsense is written about we'll have a more thorough picture of what it cost the world as a whole in terms of personal freedoms, costs to uninfected citizens who were forced with compliance of politically driven mandates to be subjected to other health issues, costs to how businesses and even complete nations economies were ravaged by these required compliances, all over a man made virus that had a survivability rate at or above 98%, meaning it never even reached a true pandemic state in realistic terms.

While you might not view this as oppressive, that's fine, we all get to choose how we view things nerd smiley
