Two days ago I was at a grocery store and almost everyone was wearing a mask (now mandatory in the state where I live) .. most were masks made from some flimsy cloth material or a simple dust mask.. most people I watched were fidgeting with their mask and/or had their nose outside of their mask.. I saw one guy pull his mask down and then cough without covering his mouth in any way, then put his mask back on.
If you still believe that a mask will save you then I just don't know what else to tell you..
It is my opinion that the handful of people that are wearing masks correctly are very possibly slowing the spread of their germs. Keyword is 'slowing', they are not stopping it.
I am not worried about getting covid-19 anymore then I have ever worried about getting any other illness.
20+ years ago I had cancer and I wasn't scared of that so why would I be scared of this?
I'm not scared because I know Everyone will die. When your number is, your number is up. If you're meant to die from the Rona then that's that.
As for the argument that by not wearing a mask you are putting others at risk? Nonsense. If you see someone that is not wearing a mask and you're scared of the Rona, then stay more than 6 feet away from them, what the fuck is so hard to understand about that?
