Nope hosbro you didn't get it right, I am talking of a quite big cultural style which influenced much more then middleclass women, and in fact there are wonderful buildings spread around all the world which were built following that "style".

HINT: Think of year 20es and 30es .....

The 20s or the 30s, I almost missed that clue because of the curious way in which it was written.

Is it to do with the rise of fascism? Did they equip the SS with tailored black leather coats and accessorize with little SS insignia on the lapels?
