Can fat people help being fat (I mean obese, hugely fat)?
We cater for blind people, and we should.
We cater for deaf people, yes good idea.
We cater for disabled people, absolutely.
But only in America do they cater for fatties.
I guess you have to walk a mile in someones shoes first.

You should always walk a mile in someone else's shoes. That way you are a mile away, and have their shoes.

"Can fat people help being fat (I mean obese, hugely fat)?"

I don't know..I think there are some people that have medical issues that contribute to obesity...
Probably though it's just that it's more difficult for some people due to a number of factors..i.e metabolism, diet, ability to exercise..
One of the worst things you can do is eat sugary foods and then sit down for hours at a time...truckers, office workers, etc..
For me personally, in order to be fit I have to walk at least 5 miles a day and eat only raw veggies and maybe a tiny bit of chicken...which I'm able to do now but when I was working 12-14 hours a day it was not possible..I didn't have enough time to walk or prepare healthy foods..
I think there are many people that are in similar situations..and also there are many people that just don't understand that Food Matters
And of course there are people that are just fat and lazy and don't give a fuck because they'd rather watch teevee and play vidya games instead of doing any kind of physical activity..also maybe they don't care about their appearance because you don't have to look good to watch pr0n and beat off?

Yeah you've mentioned food matters before and it is a good watch.
I took 3 years to go from 90Kg to 120Kg and 8 years to get back to 90Kg.
It's all about calorie intake. Fuck excecise (it is good to excercise of course).
Only reducing your calorie/kilojoule intake will make you lose weight.
And that sucks because food is lifestyle and it's hard to change.

I (almost) agree with 'berto. The weight loss equation is a simple one - expend more energy than you consume. It is possible to lose weight by increasing your exercise level, but you have to do a LOT more exercise to equal the energy loss from eating less. Think top level athlete type exercise levels. It's much easier to lose weight by eating less, rather than by exercising more.

I enjoy exercising. I try to do minimum 10,000 steps per day and I ride ~200km/week (~120mi). That allows me to pretty much eat whatever I want and maintain weight. I go up and down a little bit, but more or less maintain at that level.

I did similar to wob, put on and lost. As I get busier with work I tend to put a bit on, as things calm down I'll drop a bit. I'm ~6'2 so pretty happy around 90kg.
