Curious how being for or against Israel is relevant to a videogame or its content.
Also, yeah, did this guy buy any of the GTA series for his 8 year old?

RockStar games have been sanitising all the previous releases for the last 10 years.
Every update subtly REMOVES content that doesn't conform to "the message'.
Sp yeah, they are going hard to promote it but it will be the same as all the others,
FYI watch this if your attention span is greater than 30 seconds.

Those 'choppy' videos are borderline unwatchable for me. How hard would it have been to do more than a sentence at a time in 1 take?

Anyway not entirely sure what the point of it was? Holds up a mirror to reality. How's that sanitising anything? Where was any evidence at all of "the message"?

I didn't get it.

It's a bit meta(?) or whatever people try to do these days, like The Boys being political when it's really just taking the piss (or is it?) oh and season 4 trailer is out, meh, but I'll still stream it.
You used to be able to kill hookers in GTA remeber. But ultimately Rockstar are a big corporate so they allow all the shock then slowly remove it [www.youtube.com] however most of what they remove is bug related. I like that you can still burn a body in Red Dead II.
Point being, they are going the whole hog appealing to their target audience with the new trailer.
But it's a bait and switch as usual, they game will be a plate full of gansta with some "the message" on the side.
I get more entertainment for the 100 or so YouBoobers that I follow giving criticism and/or praise rather than actually playing a game or watching a movie.
I buy 1 game a year and watch 1 movie a year and torrent (I mean stream) 2 or 3 movies or series because there is so little value anymore. Buyer beware and all that crap. Man I gotta stop drinking so early on a Friday.

You still can? I just loaded up my fully patched, up to date Steam version of GTA5; picked up a hooker, got a blowjob, and beat her to death and got my $70 back. My wanted level never even increased.

I then did burnouts on her body and smeared blood all over the parking space before driving down the bike path along the beach and running down cyclists.

Where'd you get that you can't from?

That's not Rockstar being "woke"; that's the Australian government and our classification rules being shit. That's always been the case; we've banned/rated R a lot of things that are MA in other countries.

Apparently somebody forgot to tell Steam though, since.. you know.. I'm playing it as it was bought on my PC. In Australia.. and not from Kmart.

So I'm gonna be honest; I legit don't understand what the "woke" crying about the GTA6 trailer is about. There's black people and hispanics in it? HISPANICS? IN A CITY BASED ON MIAMI? Say it ain't so.. where officially, 70% of the Miami population is fucking hispanic and of the remaining population 75% is black. Whites only make up 14% of the total population. But this is Rockstar returning to Vice City. A place they've done before. They've only ever done 3 US cities in 10 games.

There was also black people in all the previous games. Asians and Russians too. There was even Hari Krishnas.. and you could kill every one of them equally. In GTA San Andreas you played as a black character. In GTA 5 a black character was 1 of the 3 characters you played.

I saw early outrage at the rumours/leaks that it's "gOiNg WoKe bEcAuSe yOu CaN pLaY aS a GiRL12!!!11" .. it's quite clearly based on Natural Born Killers with a bit of Bonnie and Clyde mixed in. Really woke. Then again they named an add-on to GTA4 after a gay character 15 years ago.

I straight up don't get it. GTA has always been a pisstake on the world; liberals and conservatives alike, and as that youtube vid said it "holds a mirror up". Created by a Scottish company; the same one that used to hurl Lemmings off a cliff.

And I still don't understand "the message".

For me, the thing about the right screaming about "wokeness" is exactly the fucking same as the left screaming about "inclusion" or LGBTQI+ or anything else. It's all white noise from retards. The whole fucking lot of them are absolute window licking spanners and can fuck off and die.
