Modified the image uploader to accept WebP images.

[developers.google.com].

I'm not migrating any of the existing formats by default, just a new format that's allowed.

Edit: Also, older Apple devices and Firefox browser versions might fail to display WebP images. Should work with current versions of them.

Hah. Well, I wasn't going for originality, I was going for a webp test image which worked! Yay. Many parties.

Maybe in a year or two I'll migrate all images to webp to cut down the storage footprint, when I can definitively say "if you can't support this image format upgrade your shit or go away kthxbye".

By the time pulse gets around to it booble will insist on WebP 2 as a minimum.

Speaking of compression, pulse you really should watch the first 2 seasons of Silicon Valley.

Yeah I know. I will one day. I have it..

I think about dropping the storage footprint of the site but honestly it's just not that big. It's a long way from when we started and were trying to fit things into basically free hosting accounts, or very cheap "unlimited" accounts which were anything but.

Now, storage is simply not an issue anymore for a picture website We could be 10,000x bigger and I could take it without sweat. Probably similarly with hits etc too.

I considered at one stage competing with imgur etc but I'm too lazy.
