Yeah, dosn't everyone know that smoking "pot" and Viloent crime IS in
the same catagory. RIGHT? No. Your a real ass Anonymous@5576.
EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THERE CIVIL RIGHTS UNDER THE LAW, UNLESS YOUR A LAMB TO
SLAUGHTER (MARTIAL LAW IS NOT IN EFFECT NOW)
Hmm... what if "pot" was legal AND ALCAHOL WAS ILLIGAL? Hmm... Less
viloent crime? No more drunk driving 'cept the FIRST time your busted and then
put away for life. Health issues? Both have them but the alcahol IS far worse.
MAYBE ALCAHOL IS TOO PROFITABLE TO PROHIBIT? IT'S BANNED, IT'S UNBANNED...HMM
(Check the constitution)
Do you know how many jobs "the war on drugs" has created the last 25
years in the US. A few things to think about.

Now thats about the most fucked up point of view I think I have heard in a long
time.
Hell the forensics world brings more work, lets promote murder. Throwing trash
out of your car window give the prison system road crews purpose and adds
meaning to their lives. Hell legalize rape and it would probably end all
prostitution out right. You have to draw a line somewhere.

I don't like drugs, including alcohol. But when a person uses pot, in their own
home, who is the victim of the crime? It is THEIR body, right? It's ok to get
drunk right? What is the difference? Perfectly legal to get drunk and stay that
way all weekend, but illegal to get high on pot for one hour? Anyone can grow
pot in their back yard, dry it and smoke it, so the government can't make any
TAX MONEY from it.....

what if your car smells like weed? can they then search w/o a warrant?

This really all gets into the question of "consensual crimes" (like
drugs, and prostitution), and democracy. In a free society why should it be a
crime to engage in something that both parties want to do, and where no-one gets
hurt? Pretty ridiculous to not make those things legal if you ask me.

Right now my most important thing is, A. Lying to my parents and B. Beating a
lie detector test. It's only a lie if you don't believe it my friends.

Prostitution is exploitative to women, unless highly regulated. Drug
production is exploitative to farmers, unless done in the home, personally, or
highly regulated.
John_Stone Report This Comment Date: September 17, 2005 08:14AM
See, if these things were /legal/ that would take the criminal element out of
them, and prostitutes could organize brothels for themselves, and anyone could
grow pot, at home, or commercially for profit. The problem is the law.
How would democracy suffer from that? It's the people that like to control
other people that ensure there are laws stopping us from doing things that are
basically non-harmful.
