Don't I know it !

It must be very boring to be right all the time, beast.

This just in:
Sept. 9 (Bloomberg) -- The Bush administration can indefinitely detain a U.S.
citizen it determines to be an enemy combatant in the war on terrorism, a
federal appeals court ruled.

So what is the definition of "enemy combatant"?
Since "terrorist group" can be applied to any group in the US that the
gov't doesn't particularly like (I know of a podunk activist group in Michigan
that has been defined as a 'terrorist group' ), and there is no appeal to this
listing.. it is only time, my friends, only time...

Vince Foster, David Kelly and Hunter Thompson...

The cool thing is that I don't place any value on being right.
John_Stone Report This Comment Date: September 10, 2005 01:07AM
But I'm certain you place value on not having hot lead poured in your ear, you
fucking terrorist...
Anonymous Report This Comment Date: September 10, 2005 04:33AM
You don't value what is right; so in other words the truth and a lie are of
equal value in your eyes. Man that's really fucked up. How do you live like
that?

Way to go clowns. Creating strawman arguments are lame.
I said I don't place any value on being right. In other words, my ego doesn't
get pumped when I am right.

What the fuck was that you asswipe ? You better remember which camp I am in.

the fag camp
John_Stone Report This Comment Date: September 10, 2005 06:41PM
I have no idea what "camp" you're actually in Beast, I've only ever
met you on the "Internets"... The larger point being that, if you are
- as you suggest you are - an employee of the US Executive Branch, and you are
posting dissenting comments on a 'free-for-all' website, probably from work,
then you probably fit the gov't definition of 'terrorism'... since it is so
loosely applied these days. Who cares if you're right or not or anything, if
those with the power decide, you will be eating wormy bread with the lights on
24/7.

I only wanted you to clarify, brother Stone. Couldn't see how anyone might say
that they felt lies and truth had equal footing. I see what you meant was that
you don't value yourself being right over someone else being wrong. And I think
that's true. We can learn more from being wrong than we can from being right,
assuming our egos don't get in the way. Thanks for the explanation.
