I visited San Fran on my way to Napa. We rented bikes to ride across the bridge. On our way we came across Bill Dan balancing rocks. We had to stop, as it was one of the coolest art forms I have ever seen. Mr. Dan was happy to take pictures with us. He is a zen master.
Our trip to northern Cali was focused on food and wine, but I must say that our time with Mr. Dan was my fondest memorie.
