the only reason there are bases there now is to protect our people and to make our response time to situations 10 times faster than if we had to come from an aircraft carrier.saving fuel and minimizing airtime.also anyone who says,and i'll just beat you to it,1485, this is for oil, is a FOOL! the price for a barrel has skyrocketed since, which i'm not complaining cause my family has alot of land and wells. WE WANT WORLD PEACE! AND IF WE HAVE TO FORCE IT ON EVERYONE, THAN SO BE IT!
