Over and over and over again Americans on here say Iraq is not about oil and start whining about the price of gas to prove your point... Ask any half intelligent GI and he will tell you straight - it's about oil.
The price of gas today is totally irrelevant. This is about medium to long term strategy, it's about securing rapidly diminishing energy resources, it's about about having any gas at all in the future regardless of price
