I know the Germans are having a hard time adjusting to the fact that the shattered economies of Hungary and Poland are entering in the Union. And the Euro is artifically strong while "globalization" (neoliberalism) in the form of the Union is destroying local unique economies. I was writting and strongly telling some Europeans in a e-mail recently to focus on their local economy and beware of the generalized conformity of the EU.
