He's living breathing proof that craven stupidity is worse than ignorance. He's smart enough to manipulate the gullible, who identify with him, but so patently unwise about his choices that he's nearly single handedly destroyed our standing in the world as a source of hope and integrity.
Worse (and this our fault not his) he's gotten away with it.
