Changes in world consciousness and evolution will have no affect unless absolutely everyoone in the world changes at the same time. There are far too many who would like nothing better then for us to join the "turn the other cheek" culture so they can stick a knife in our backs. I would like nothing better then the entire world to embrace peace and love, but I will not be one to carry flowers when all around me are carrying guns. How many flowers would it take to stop a suicide bomber from exploding?
