If the tables were turned and we had a foreign military force operating within our borders controling our society, our movements and killing our citizens, I think it would be easy to see where the point of this leading.
Our founding fathers forewarned limiting our involvement in foreign entanglements, and for good reason. Militarirstic and socio-economic manipulation of other countries in attempting to force their subservience to our ideologies is a sure fire method for creating whole generations of enemies, and hardly in our best interests.
The world cop routine has never worked at anything but killing off citizens, wasting trillions of dollars and making enemies world wide of people who would not necessarily be so inclined were it not for our interventionism.
We have every right to govern our own actions within our borders, and absolutely none beyond them.
