The thing about a bike like that is; sure it looks cool, but you wouldn't want to have to ride it... The handling is going to be shit, it's obviously uncomfortable (saying this as someone who rides a 200mph "crotch rocket" almost every day), and you'd have to spend 6 hours cleaning the dust, dirt and road film off the chrome work if you did ride it anywhere. Fuel tank's also pretty puny for a big V twin - doubt you'd get 50 miles out of it between fill-ups...

A REAL STUDIO CHOPPER.

Fuck that OVERPRICED, ill handling ride.

I'd rather see a RAT bike some one actually CHOPPED or built themselves. They didn't even use any lube when you bought that bike.

Bin Laden this is a show bike, not a bike you would everyday. Anyone can buy a crotch rocket. Oh, and Toucansam this bike WAS built by himself ground up.

This is obviously a unique bike. I’ve never seen anything like it. I guess if you have the money…

bikes are meant to be ridden - form follows function

Looks like every other chop I see following the "American Chopper" school of thought. What exactly is the point of a show bike? Ah well - you showed us it, so there- your work here is done. I got an old CBR600, slightly personalised (top yoke conversion, change of pipe, paint, clocks -generally 'streetfightered')-not a patch on this in terms of value but a hell of a better ride I bet!

I’ve never seen so much criticism flow. What are you guys in high school? It’s a “Show Bike” you could ride it everyday if you wanted to, but maybe that’s not what is wanted. Maybe, another form of transportation is preferred for everyday use, like a truck or car. What do you think “American Chopper” is the Genesis of custom bike makers? Wipe your nose and ask mommy if she’ll take you to a “Bike Show,” in her Caravan. Have any of you “professionals” every made anything other than your pages stick together? Why don’t you post your pictures of your bikes, I can’t wait to see them.

By the way, I’ve found some uses or “a point” for a show bike:

P.S. I got an old cp30, slightly personalized to my own personal needs for riding fast everyday… Really, really, really fast everyday cause “form follows function and bikes are made to be ridden to the car wash to wash off the chrome, cause it gets dirty, really dirty fast, on my paint and chrome, everyday.

dagmolee, wtf is a cp30? Never heard of it, and neither has google. That "show bike" turns as good as it looks. I bet he spent FOREVER whittlin' out those billet wheels with his die grinder (lol)!

I'll be shure to post some good pics of my near completion '70 cb750 when I'm finished. It'll make any body that restores SANDCAST throw up, wink wink old skool race bike. FUCK THE FACTORY.

Oh, and as a matter of fact I AM a custom
fabricator, build everyday, make my livin' that way so technically I guess I am a professional.

AND YOU LINKS SUCK, I'LL GO DOWN TO MY BUELL/HARLEY DEALERSHIP IF I WANT TO SEE THAT SHIT.

ANONYMOUS@9026 You get some props for assembling the bike. I know it was a kit.

Cp30, the robot from Star Wars. (http://www.freenetpages.co.uk/hp/j.p.c/hope2.htm)

The P.S. was a not to be taken seriously.

My links suck, oh no, not that, I won’t be able to sleep now.

If you're a custom fabricator why can't you spot a custom bike? If you think it’s a kit, look in your “kit catalog” and show it to me. And if you’re just guessing that you’re a professional, (“…so technically I guess I am a professional”) chances are you’re not. Maybe you just sweep up and put away tools, you know, die grinders and things.

Anyway, if I wanted to waste time arguing I would be practicing law.

Show your bike or not.

Fuck you dagmolee. I'd stomp a fukin hole where you used to be. I know what I do, I'm not the fukin "help" or blacks as it is around the shop. I am a professional welder. Keep truckin mother fucker.

Kit catalog..hmmph..I'll sell you some 24' sticks.

Arguing on the int....

I WIN! Duh huh,

You’ve got a lot of stomping to do.

Why would you post a picture of yourself, where’s your bike?

Relax Toucan, I’m just fucking with you. I’m sure you’re a professional wielder.

Peace

Jesus, this is some funny shit. Relax! It's a picture of a chopper. Doesn't matter if it was built it from scratch or cobbled it together from a parts catalog! ToucanSam, I'd like to see some pics of your CB750K0 when complete. I'm into CBX's myself, have a couple of 'em in my collection. Lots of bike enthusiasts on this site, that's for sure, but way too much attitude.

ya ya C3PO I get it now. Peace.

I'll be shure to show the bike off. Carbon body work...I think I'll clear coat it.
