Today we hit 43.8 degrees C, that is around 112f for the Americans in here.

For most of the east coast of Australia it is the hottest New Years day on record and for some area;s the hottest day on record.

As my mother described it, the wind was like when you walk into the kitchen on christmas day as someone opens the oven

It is now 10.30 pm and still 36 degrees (93f)
Too hot to try and sleep

We have just got a great southerly which as cooled it right down

90130 you wouldn't want to trade, that sort of temp has started our bushfire season, the main freeway out of Sydney is cut, and 5 houses ahev been lost in that fire.
I know a lot of towns in Victoria have been evacuated.

Please post your weather conditions but also remember there are two different types so please tell us the temp in C & F a conversion can be found at [www.texloc.com]

Yeah,I measured 45.8 (in the shade!) at my place on north side of Sydney at 2pm. When I looked north to see the smoke near Gosford and heard all the fire engines on the Pacific Hwy, and heaps of choppers in the air, I felt very sorry for those poor blokes who had to go out there and fight the fires in that heat. As for the CUNTS who lit them, well.........our government needs to pass a bill to allow life sentences' for that type of crime.

Hey John, I'm heading off to Vicoria (coastal)tomorrow, hope I get down there without getting my ass singed!

My mother works at a motel and a couple turned up yesterday and the side of their car was all fucked from driving through a fire.

Have a good trip and I hope we get to make NGH the most popular head on the internet in 2006.

18 degrees C or 'bouta 65 F here in atl much cooler last night though i guess saw people wearing jackets i was so fucked up i was just wearing a t-shirt and kept yelling at random people can't remember much else
