Source of =Kunoichi= (Female Ninjas) is in order to write =Onna= (Female) in =Kanji= .
=Kunoichi= is not so old word. In generally it is known as Futaro Yamada (1922-2001) 's idea.

domo Tommy san very enlightening
the first part =Ku= i noticed has several meanings like a ward, or a section; nine; a passage, phrase sentence etc....; and in verb form, to bend over =No= is of course a particle used to show possesion and =Ichi= we all know means one or first like in =IchiGatsu= January
what i am asking is would the translation be =Nine's One= ? i sure has hell know it cannot be =bendover's one= because that doesn't make any since :-] how the hell could a =verb= have possesion ? lol
