Did you ever see anyone arrested wearing a Bush T-shirt, or for you older guys, an Eisenhower, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, or even Nixon, or Bob Dole shirt?

And in turn, do you ever remember any of the said presidents being popular enough to have t-shirts printed and sold in EVERY corner store with their image / moto / slogan on it? Doesn't mean he's a good president... does mean he's popular though and that this will just happen on a pure statistical basis alone.

Fool enough people with flowery speeches (when your teleprompter is working) and feed 'em a bunch of empty promises and pure bullshit, and I'm sure they'll trip over themselves to wear a shirt with your face on it.

To my way of thinking those who accept the status quo or refuse to actually "think" are what I view as "part of the problem" as their inactivity or complacency is what allows the problems to foment in the 1st place.

Thinking for oneself is one of the last vestiges of freedom and when one chooses to allow that to be done by others they essentially give away one of their most precious freedoms .... and all the rights that go along with it
