..Which is totally unlike the Bush "Administration", Big Oil, and
Saudi Arabia ... all licking one another's asses.
You guys hate the U.N. because they actually somewhat represent the rest of the
world, and don't allow AMURRIKANS to take unilateral control of the world.
Did you know that the US has not paid their U.N. dues in like 10 years? They
are trying to defund the U.N. because they are actually effective, and actually
act as a form of international representative democracy... unlike the US of
A.
Read your fucking history and stop reading crap blogs and Militia websites.
Sheesh!

Pull your head out of your ass 136136.The U.N.
is just a bunch of idiotic fat cats that dine
on 5 star lobster luncheons everyday and
pretend that they actually give a fuck about
the planet.Maybe the odd time a lower class U.N.
pee-on might get a resolution passed to ban
landmines(which nobody adheres to anyways,except
maybe Angola). So give your head a shake,
trade in your blue-beret for a Kevlar helmet
and get with the times. In this era the U.N.
has about as much political clout as George
Clooney(the janitor from Facts of Life).

Ok, sure, they are fat cats who eat 5-star lobsters, but so do many, many other
politicians, and very corrupt ones at that. So what are you actually saying?
The U.N. passes resolutions, AND puts out good money to put peacekeepers on the
ground, which do invaluable service in wars. The ability to have a very
visible, non-shooting armored force in a warzone is an AMAZING advantage over
previous history. They can at least account for facts on the ground.
Also, the UN does far, far more than you probably imagine (based on your
comment). They supply refugees with basic food and shelter (more than the Bush
Adminifuckupstration does... cf. New Orleans), all sorts of behind-the-scenes
diplomacy and whole host of other activities that fly below "news
radar".
Just because countries like the US and Israel prefer to ignore Resolutions, is
nothing to blame on the U.N.
And no, my dear militia-loving friends, the U.N. is not out to "control the
world", despite whatever paranoid rantings you may have read online
somewhere. They don't have much of a attack force.

name 1 resolution they have followed through on.
they are worthless and every country they have come down on has thumbed their
noses at them.

You guys are pissed off because the UN arms investigators went into Iraq and
found there were not any WMD.
Removing one of your cherished but paranoid/delusional beliefs (that Iraq had
WMD and was ready to "blow up the US if we did'nt get them first)

the U.N is too busy arguing amongst themselves to find anything but their
asses.

what has the U.N. done? asked to go in and provide "humanitarian
aid"? yeah that's what the situation calls for, a cessation of hostilities
to give the bad guys time to re-supply and re-enforce, move to a better hiding
place....the list is endless.
what happened in Afghanistan when humanitarian aid was air dropped? the bad guys
hijacked it all....HMMMMMMMMMMM

I just have a hard time respecting an organization that has ambassadors on its
"Human Rights" commitee that are from known terrorist states and
countries that still enslave humans! I wish the United Nations would get the
Hell out of NYC and into a more appropriate country like Russia or even Rwanda!
