bullshit is more like it. doesnt matter what he did in the past. He basically has been tried 3 times for the same crime.
First time - not guilty
Second time - found guilty and had to pay millions. (HTF can you be forced to pay for a crime you were found not guild of doing)

and now the 3rd time. And to all this i have to say...

sux to be him tongue
sticking out smiley

Not sure how it matters that he's been tried in the past for anything. The crimes he was on trial for here were not even remotely related to his previous trials, totally different charges, cast of characters, situation, etc.

And, the 3rd trial you mentioned which was indeed related to his murder case was civil, which he was found guilty of and then required to pay civil penalties for. In case this concept evades you, it's perfectly legal and prudent and this trial as well had no relation to his acquital on the criminal charges.

mint, if you really believe he was innocent of the double murder he was tried for I would say you are part of an extreme minority that holds that view and I wonder if he were white if even you would hold the same opinion.

Gotta remind ya dude, racism is a 2 way street and you don't get a pass on your thoughts because of your race anymore than anyone else does winking

Of course he was guilty dont be flippin' stupid. And i know the first was a criminal trial and 2nd was civil. Doesnt change the fact that it's still retarded that you can be found guilty in one and not the other. Period

To me it only points up the fact he was acquiteed at all on the murder counts since he was eventually convicted in the civil case. The old sayin "You get the justice you can afford." certainly seem relevent hot smiley

Not exactly what legislators had in mind when the laws were drafted I'm sure, but it damned sure works that way angry

Whether he did the murders or not, I have to agree with mint that it makes little sense that a person can be found not guilty of the crime yet still found guilty of it in a civil trial.

Criminal and civil cases have a lot of differences in what can be admitted as evidence, etc. that can add up to a conviction in one instance while not in the other winking

hmmm, I wouldn't be so sure that that "little" flaw wasn't what the initial intention was

and the way this whole murder case was conducted was ridiculously racist--in the actions of the investigating officers and the media circus that surrounded this case-- whether or not he was guilty. This whole thing was taken up by the media and presented to whites and Blacks in this country in a way to reinforce the division between these two sections. And then they kind of rubbed your nose in it when instead of going to death row, which ironically many nonprominent Blacks do go to, and blatantly obviously innocent of the crimes they are being accused (Troy Davis for just one of the many examples of this particularity). But still the message in the final analysis is: the Black man pays.

this reinforces the outlook in white people that they are more important, but in a subtle way. Many whites do not even think that they are racist, but unconsciously they do have a very racist outlook. Both the media and the "detectives" fixed this whole thing up to make it look obvious to, white people, that he committed the horrendous slayings. And if you're a thinking man, regardless of your race you have to say:"Why the fuck would he leave such a mess?". But at the same time, blatantly displaying this "rigging" to Blacks to reinforce their resentment (albeit is a rather just resentment considering the whole historical experience of the U.S. from its founding up until this very day!) for whites.

These fuckers are playing all of you for fools...

If he had been convicted in the first trial then the other 2 never would have happened. I am rascist and I admit it and always have. I am rascists against those who use their race thinking we owe them something.

shaDEz buddy, somehow, somewhere, you seem to have totally lost your ability in cognizant logical thought. I have to wonder what occurred in your education that led you to totally give over your ability to analyze social concepts and have that process instead become a mere parroting of others ideologies and agendas.

If OJs trials had been racially motivated and the media manipulated to push that agenda wouldn't it seem the headlines would have read "Former Black Athlete Charged In Murder Of White Wife And Lover" ?

If you think any of his trials were racially motivated instead of simple acclaimations by the judicial system that he had committed prosecutable crimes against individuals, then I say that YOU are the racist. Looking at his judicial prosecutions as anything but natural proceedings from the assumptions of guilt in his actions is in itself a racist position if you make his race any part of the discussion!

Racism is not only persecution/prosecution of a member of a given race by others but also the exclusion of persecuion/prosecution of a member of a given race by others due to their race ... it works BOTH WAYS winking

This is great. I have been wondering about why Whites are racists, and
no other race is. Proud to be White Michael Richards makes his point...

Michael Richards better known as Kramer from TVs Seinfeld does make a
good point.
This was his defense speech in court after making racial comments in his
comedy act. He makes some very interesting points...
Someone finally said it... How many are actually paying attention to

There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab
Americans, etc. And then there are just Americans. You pass me on the
street and sneer in my direction. You call Me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,'
'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman' ... And that's OK. But when I call you,
Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or
Chink ... You call me a racist. You say that whites commit a lot of
violence against you... So why are the ghettos The most dangerous places
to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi. You have the NAACP.
You have BET... If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be
If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists. If we had a
White History Month, we'd be racists.
If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR , lives we'd
be racists.
We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and
then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.
Wonder who pays for that??

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, But any
color can be in the Miss America pageant.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships ...
You know we'd be racists.
There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US . Yet if
there were 'White colleges' That would be a racist college.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your
race and rights.
If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not
afraid to announce it.
But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police
officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-
Dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him
a racist.

I am proud... But you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists??

While I agree with most of this speech attributed to Michael Richards, he did not go to court nor did he say this. Can't believe the crap that people send you in forwarded emails, jgoins, just because you trust the person who sent it to you. This is nothing more than electronic gossip that uses the name of a famous person to make it sound more credible. Some people I like and trust very much have put me in the uncomfortable position of having to defend Barak Obama against some made up tripe recently; just ask fossil-digger how I feel about that shit (and, no, he wasn't the one who sent it to me; I don't trust him at all - just kidding, digger). Using lies to try and perpetuate a cause only helps those who are opposed to whatever cause it is. I use snopes and truthorfiction to check things out and I just learned of which is apparently legitimate.

Holy shit, did the communist among us just say we are all so far beneath him!? What a bourgeoisie thing for a member of the proletariat to to say, but that attitude is what has doomed every communist/socialist society. It's a very normal, human attitude which is why those societies have failed; soon as one worker starts thinking he's better than the worker next to him who he is supposedly equal to, you got a problem at the old collective farm or factory 'cause Mr. Superior starts feeling he should be in business for himself and fuck all his comrades.

ShaDEz, you're just a run of the mill anarchist, buddy. Are ya red in the face yet? (pun intended)

Forget tryin to affix a name to who made the statements JG posted. The logic stated there, regardless of whom may have made them is absolute truth! If any organization were formed with "White" as the precursor to its title it would be heralded as a racist organization, and rightly so.

The sad side of the truth in all this is that all the organizations currently in existence with "Black", "Hispanic", "Asian", or any other racial moniker are by their nature open and blatant examples of racism as they serve to exclude other races, but .... they are not only allowed into existence and accepted as right and just, they even manage to get tax abatements, police protection, governmental fundings, and the list goes on and on and on!

Perhaps the Aryan Nation should apply for some of these fundings and offsets, which of course would be denied, then sue the denying governmental agency on the grounds of racial discrimination.

Unfortunately, in our nonsensically political correct society, more than likely even doing so with perfect grounds would never achieve success, though it would be a pristine example of racial discrimination by a governmental agency, which is supposed to be absolutely verbotten ... unless you're white drinking smiley

Mr Kim, that is the reason I posted this because of the rascism which we are accosted with everyday. I don't know if Rischards said it or not, the point was that it is true in every way. It is so true that I can say cracker or honkey in tnhe same setance even here but I can't say nigger. The word will magically change later.
